Model history and rarity

The Porsche 356, produced from 1948 to 1965, was the first production automobile built by Porsche.

Designed by Ferdinand Porsche and later developed by his son Ferry Porsche, it laid the foundation for the brand’s sports car philosophy.

Approximately 76,000 units of the 356 were produced in total, making surviving examples particularly desirable among collectors today.

The 356 B series (1960-1963) introduced:

  • revised bumpers,
  • improved suspension and braking systems,
  • increased comfort and build quality.

Well-restored and certified examples like this one are highly sought after in the international classic car market.
