28 Jun THE “RESTART” MEETING WITH THE BRITISH MOTOR CLUB ITALIA
After the long and necessary arrest, I gladly accepted the invitation from the British Motor Club Italy, based in Brescia, to participate last Sunday in the local meeting of British cars.
Appointment in the late morning at the 1000 Miglia Museum, to reach the small and suggestive Lake Idro, a favorite destination of Northern European tourism.
On this occasion, I started the engines of my Jaguar XK120, which was used a year ago at the Avezzano circuit.
Despite the long stop I had forced the car on and the high temperature of the day, my trusted English beauty kept his aplomb throughout the journey, confirming its reliability.
After the pleasant lunch by the lake, obviously freshwater fish based, our lively group returned to the city, with the promise to meet again soon to return to celebrate the passion for the historic car through the pleasure of being together, in total relaxation.
