We are always attracted by the more flashy cars, we are seduced by the big engines and loud rumbles, the thought of driving fast cars with exceptional performance excites us and we want to show off our driving skills on challenging courses.
When finally we capture the object of our desires unfortunately we realize that many of our expectations were only illusions.
Our dreams of running on fast roads are soon broken by the traffic and the Police Radar.
We thought we were admired for putting our supercar on the road with so much effort instead while we are at traffic lights we realize that other motorists are watching us with feelings that may be of teasing or envy.
Children embarrass us with greetings or jeers, it’s hard to figure out what to do …… return the greeting … ignore the tongue … in the end we decide to be politically correct and so we seem stupid at the steering wheel…
Sometimes it happens that some environmentalist accuse us of being sinister polluters and main cause of the greenhouse effect.
Only then we can understand the true meaning of understatement.
We realize that the ” discreet charm of sobriety” is what allows us to move elegantly under the eyes of all.
The car that is often remembered in the collective memory as that of the father or grandfather is the one that awakens in those who observe us feelings of genuine appreciation.
Even if it is not “EURO 6” you can still appreciate the gentleman who has preserved the car that awakens memories of our childhood ..
At the driver’s place we are surprised to discover the quality of our small sport car.
The excellent level of comfort, originality of design, ease of driving, performance that even lower but combined with a lighter weight can give us the thrill of a sporty drive and low maintenance costs are just some of the things that can make us appreciate the sports cars of the middle class.
