1970 JAGUAR E TYPE 4.2 ROADSTER S2

Produced on 21 August 1970, on 16 September it was shipped to the American distributor British Leyland in New York where it was registered at the beginning of 1971.

Imported into Italy at the beginning of the 1990s, the car was just over twenty years old and preserved in excellent original condition.

It belonged to the first Italian owner until 2010 and for the last 14 years it has been looked after and maintained with great care by a meticulous and passionate collector who has subjected it to numerous mechanical interventions.

A detailed list of all interventions is available, the major ones are:

2011 total engine overhaul and odometer reset

2012 total overhaul of the rear axle

2014 Installation of electronic ignition system

2022 at km 17500 total overhaul of the front end.

The total work carried out over these years amounts to approximately 25,000 euros.

The interior of the car is original equipment in excellent condition.

On May 23, 2012 it obtained the JAGUAR HERITAGE certificate.
