1961 ALFA ROMEO GIULIETTA SPRINT

Registered new in Florence in 1961, it was purchased by the second owner in 1962 by transferring the registration to Milan.

It later had 5 other owners, all residing in Milan, until the last owner bought it in 1989.

At the time of purchase, after almost thirty years of activity, the car needed a general restoration to be brought to its original splendour.

Supported by well-known Italian specialists in the sector, the owner then subjected it to a total restoration of the bodywork, upholstery and a total overhaul of the mechanics.

This allowed it to obtain approval from the Alfa Romeo Historical Register.

The odometer was reset to zero at the time of the restoration and the engine was completely overhauled again when it reached 50,000 km.

The odometer currently shows 67,800 km, of which 17,800 have been covered by the engine since the last overhaul.

After the first initial expense for the total restoration, in over thirty years of use from 1989 to today, the owner has subjected the car to continuous maintenance and improvement work, keeping all the detailed invoices of the work carried out for a total amount of over 25,000 euros.

The car still has the registration document with green lining from 1962 and the original black number plates of the time.

The regularity of the obligatory biennial inspections (MOT/ TUV) shows that the car has always been used consistently.

The last performed is valid until April 2024.

The car arrived at our headquarters covering a few hundred kilometers without difficulty.
