1960 LANCIA APPIA COUPE’ PININFARINA JUST TOTALLY RESTORED
Registered new in Milan on 23 May 1960, this rare coupé model created by Pinifarina has always been kept in good condition by the few owners who have owned it.
Going into oblivion for a number of years in 2015, it was bought by a very passionate collector who over the next three years underwent a total restoration of bodywork, mechanics and upholstery to bring it back to its original splendor.
Extensive photographic documentation of the works is available, showing that the car was brought to the bare body and fully restored nut and bolt.
Since the restoration it has only driven 3700km and is in like new condition.
The cost of the restoration work was very high and the owner is aware that it will no longer be recoverable.
All this for the benefit of the next owner who will have the opportunity to own a restored specimen to a much higher level of quality than what can usually be found on the market by paying only a fraction of the total price.
In 2019 it was subjected to the examination of the Lancia historical register and certified with the number 2878.
The car has always been in Milan so it retains the number plates and the original registration certificate.
