Cristiano Luzzago talks about the main characteristics of this imposing car which, after the war, was the standard-bearer of the German state and its automotive industry.

Entirely hand-built with avant-garde technical features and top-level stylistic finishes, it was the heir to the glories of the great Mercedes of the 3rd Reich times.

Produced in a limited number of specimens, it was used for political representation not only by the German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer from whom it takes the nickname but also by the American President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, by the Emperor of Etiopia Hailè Selassiè and by the Popes John XXIII and Paul VI.

It was also appreciated and led by famous personalities from the show and the international Jet Set such as Clark Gable, Yul Brinner and Gary Cooper.

A car with gigantic dimensions that nevertheless drives lightly in sumptuous comfort.
