Alla Stella Alpina il debutto di Bianca
Ho partecipato alla trentottesima edizione della Stella Alpina con una co-driver speciale: mia nipote Bianca.
Al suo primo raduno, Bianca si è mostrata subito entusiasta quando le ho chiesto di affiancarmi nella tre giorni sulle Dolomiti, cimentandosi poi con grande precisione sia nella lettura del road book che nelle 70 prove cronometrate.
Il raduno, al quale non prendevo parte da anni, è stato all’altezza delle più alte aspettative: auto di grande livello (tra cui alcune prestigiosissime “anziane”), panorami mozzafiato, accoglienza superba e il conforto di incontrare tanti equipaggi giovani, segno che l’abbinata oldtimer e “young driver” è possibile.
Il momento delle premiazioni ha visto la presenza del On. Matteo Salvini, che ha espresso la sua vicinanza al mondo dell’auto storica e sottolineato il valore storico del collezionismo.
Grazie alla Scuderia Trentina Storica, all’ASI – nelle persone del presidente Alberto Scuro, del vicepresidente Ugo Gambardella e del responsabile comunicazione Felice Graziani – a Gianni Tesauro, brillante voce della manifestazione, e al team di Adrenaline 24h (e grazie anche alla mia Jaguar E Type, compagna scattante e affidabile sui tornanti alpini).
Bianca’s debut at Stella Alpina
I took part in the thirty-eighth edition of the Stella Alpina with a special co-driver: my niece Bianca.
At her first rally, Bianca was immediately enthusiastic when I asked her to join me for the three days in the Dolomites, then trying her hand with great precision both in reading the road book and in the 70 timed trials.
The rally, which I had not taken part in for years, lived up to the highest expectations: high-level cars (including some very prestigious “older” ones), breathtaking views, superb hospitality and the comfort of meeting so many young crews, a sign that the combination of oldtimers and “young drivers” is possible.
The awards ceremony saw the presence of the Hon. Matteo Salvini, who expressed his closeness to the world of historic cars and underlined the historical value of collecting.
Thanks to Scuderia Trentina Storica, to ASI – in the persons of president Alberto Scuro, vice president Ugo Gambardella and communications manager Felice Graziani – to Gianni Tesauro, the brilliant voice of the event, and to the Adrenaline 24h team (and thanks also to my Jaguar E Type, a fast and reliable companion on the Alpine hairpin bends).

Professionally restored in 1990/1991 with complete photo documentation, always maintained in perfect condition, continuously undergone to service and improvement works.
