WONDERFUL 2004 ALFA ROMEO 147 GTA, ONLY 2 OWNERS, 500 KM FROM THE TOTAL OVERHAULING
Registered on 26 February 2004 in Turin to a large joint-stock company, it belonged to the first owner for fourteen years.
From June to September 2018 it was exchanged in rapid succession between four dealerships in Turin and in October it was purchased by the second actual owner.
This Alfa Romeo enthusiast and meticulous collector decided to immediately subject it to a total overhaul despite the car being in good original condition.
His desire was to own a GTA like new without even the slightest defect.
The interventions carried out are documented by photographs and lists of the works which we can summarize briefly:
- Complete disassembly and overhaul of the mechanics, braking system with Brembo self-ventilating discs, calipers and pads, clutch assembly, transmission overhaul, front and rear axle, cam belts kit, complete service, filters, oils and hoses, shock absorbers for a total cost of 5800 euros.
- Complete dismantling of the bodywork and repainting: euro 6,000
- Covering of front seats and steering wheel with original leather: euro 2,700
- Replacement of the original muffler with a stainless steel muffler euro: 2,000
- Replacement of exhaust manifolds with special stainless steel ones euro: 1,800
Plus other various refinement works including new tyres, which increased the total cost of the car to over 40,000 euros.
At the end of the work in April 2019 the car had 163,880 original km.
Unfortunately, with the subsequent advent of Covid, the owner no longer had the opportunity to use the car which to date has only traveled 500 km and is in splendid condition, regularly MOT tested until January 2026, new battery replaced in February 2024.
Upon completion of the works in 2019, it obtained the certification from the Alfa Romeo Registry.
It is complete with the original case with all the maintenance, service and warranty booklets and navigator disks.
The license plate and registration document are the originals from first registration.
Only the names of the two actual owners are shown in the booklet, while the chronological extract also shows the names of the dealerships where the car passed through in 2018.
